MBG6 is an architecture- and urban development–focused office hotel (coworking space) of 1,550 square meters across four floors, located at Maria Bangata 6 in Södermalm. The office hotel opened in 2023 and is specifically aimed at businesses within architecture, construction and urban development, with opportunities for collaboration and exchange between professional groups in these fields. Internally, the office hotel combines older details with a modern, functional aesthetic. The premises are characterized by large window sections, exposed ceiling installations and open areas combined with secluded meeting rooms. The interior ranges from wood panelling and industrial surfaces to colour accents that create distinct zones, for example through blue furniture and elements of Oriental rugs in the common areas. On floor E there are large social areas with a lounge, kitchen and dining room, while the other floors offer office workstations, project spaces and conversation rooms. The coworking space offers a needs-based working arrangement where members use different areas depending on the task. Lounge areas are available on every floor and vary in size, enabling both focused work and informal meetings. As a member at MBG6 you have access to bookable meeting and conference rooms at no extra cost, including a conference room for 20 people. Ergonomic office furniture is provided throughout the office hotel. The property is located in the northern part of Södermalm, an area that contains both residences and offices. Working in this part of Södermalm offers proximity to both creative environments and practical services. The surrounding area includes several well-known restaurants and cafés, and is close to the green spaces of Tantolunden. Transport links are good with several hubs within walking distance. The commuter rail station Södra Station is about a five-minute walk away, while the metro stations Mariatorget and Medborgarplatsen can be reached within seven and ten minutes on foot, respectively. Journeys from, for example, Årsta take around 15 minutes by commuter train or bicycle, and from Midsommarkransen approximately 20 minutes by metro plus a short walk.
